My friend's a big hustler!!!
Starting From yesterday
went jamming with my dudes at scape and Razi the Guy in charge really gave us good advice like we are only 10% and we really need to work hard and all. Thanks to him!!! he officially became our new mentor. Soon Alicia came in and joined us... thanks for the donuts.... but i i really cant eat them cause i;m a fat drummer> next on the invited list is Jingyi, she reminds me of ratatouille, no idea why...
then we got edwin's cd and took 36 home with ed and ratatouille, then of course they sat together and i sat in front, then my boring life starts.. or should i say continues... i dropped off at parkway to take 15 home and they continued their journey to Paris....
On the way home in bus36 there was a mad man trying to get into the bus although the doors were closed.. a bizzare thing was that he was kinda pissed at the driver... but i still dont understand why the hell was he pissed at all becoz the bus was packed and the bus driver had to wait until people moved to the back before opening the door.. instead the guy acted as if he's wife was in labour in a hospital...SINGAPOREANS please.. we are already called kiasu... dont make us PISSED kiasu people.
Today
had lunch with a couple of my friends since some of them are heading back to indon and we're gonna miss them. pooled and bowled after that. fun fun fun. then i got "nightwish". thanks to ryan's recommendations they were really damn good, their music is filled with choirs and other stuff very nice and evil... and the singer blew me off.. sounded like amy lee's sister!! GO NIGHTWISH!!!!

a starting pistol at the finish line
greetings...
i have to get my NCIS season four!!! so glad Gibbs was already okay after the explsion, still surprised however, after he handed in his resignation!
i'm so excited about the progress that SavingSomeone has made in my space...
I've got a story to tell. One of my friends in Pri school told it to me... here goes.. One day, a man and God took a scroll and they had a friendly chat. God showed the man his whole life path. completed with footsteps and all. the man then noticed that there were two pairs of footprints, God explained that he was with the man all the time... Shocked, the man look at the part of his life when he was down and lonely....he noticed that there was only one pair of footsteps...He started to tense up and questioned God. ''i thought you were with me throughout!!!???''
God the replied "oh my child, during your hard times... it was i who carried you"
Amusing huh???
random:I LOVE THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW!!!
by the way i learnt to drum roll today... haha. OUT

Drown your sorrows, but taste tomorrow...
Hey all
been sooo busy with my last few days that i seriously don't have time to blog. Firstly thanks to my aunt who allowed me to stay at her place for two days, i love their their house, no noise, no construction workers and no pissing racketing neighbours. I also got to enjoy SCV too, yeah i know my house sucks, no SCV.
Just submitted my application for the PAE whereby tubbies are allowed to enter a tertiary inst. a little earlier. hope i get in!!
Went to jamming with my usual bunch and it was great as usual, we played our own songs and covered a few as well, "yellow" by Coldplay which i thought was done extremely well- very very proud. i wonder whether i'll cut out being a good drummer cause i just started it myself and managed to rake up a ffew cool beats, extracting from others and learning too. We had an idea of performing at Ben and Jerry's The scooper's lounge, the prizes were good and rather tempting but there was one thing however, we could only play covers and they dont accept Originals at all. After talking to Jason Ryan, the organiser of the competition, i learnt a few things like we have to see what the crowd wants, not only us and the Vocalist is the heart of the band, if he sucks then we're screwed too, we then decided to shelve the idea since we were going to get our demo soon, With support from Ryan's and Jialin's folks, YAY. Watch out.
One more thing, after Jamming we heard someone playing Paramore's songs and OMFG its a girl and guys(i know this is the lineup for the band but how many times do you see this in s'pore??) not to mention she was kinda hot and sang quite well too.
I'm gonna play tennis and go gym with my lost buddy from ww2. cheers>=)

Is Religion that Important??
i'm finally well enough to sit up and type on this computer, been unwell for the past two days. massive Shats and vomits, guess i'm 9months already.
tomorrow's the start of the challet and i THINK its gonna be quite a blast, excluding the fact that some people might still go there to study. believe me, it still happens. Was suppose to meet my dudes for jamming today(to mark this as the end of the bloody o's), but then i'm still well enough to hit a snare drum. thanks for understanding guys, so the session had to be shifted to thursday. i'm proud of the new songs ryan came up with and it seem it had depth in every note, i'm also quite proud of my drumming, considering i just learnt drumming myself and everytime i listen to the song and i'd be asking myself, "did i really play this or what?'' yea. nontheless i'll still work on it. Thanks ed for getting me the drumsticks since i've barely had time to get my tools of destruction.
Got myself Paul Cardall's christmas cd, ''christmas hymms" and my gosh, the way he play christmas songs, brings tears to people's eyes, i listen to him re-mould Silent Night into a sort of solemm and quiet state BUT still leaves a tinge of happiness and hope in the song! GO PAUL(my fav pianist!!

Table for three
The search for fightstar still goes on! there's been a tip off from my bud that there's one at the orchard HMV but holy cow, it costs 45bucks not pesos. big deal. i've heard yet another nice song from them, its called "deathcar" which is featured in the movie "resident evil-extinction". that, totally blew me off. look out!!!
Tuesday, the final battle. at 10.30 sharp, the sun will rise over the battlefields and victory shalt be granted to those who are ruthless enough to survive!
HAHA, i'm having my challet on wed to fri and i wonder what's it gonna be like. i forsee a frantic outing but nontheless fun IS still the essential element.
Went to parkway specially today to get "bioshock" for my sis, i'm sending it over, she loves these kinda games so. life deifintely has been hard on her in Australia, you cant Eat just because you want to, you cant go out just cause you wish to, and it seems that the shackles only grant one's freedom for a few minutes, fancy claiming that Singapore's a hectic country.

Two worlds, one apart
Sorry all madina lake fans!!!
i guess i'm damn slow, i recently just gave a listen to their song "here i stand" and i was stunned. seriously. what more can i say they rocked and i'm defintely wanna hear more from them yeah!
finally got my hands on paul cardall's second album "miracles" and i thought that it's much different than his previous album "faithful" meaning that he decided to experient on a melodious and jubilant point of play, compared to his old work, which had more sobs and all(i prefer the old one) it really isnt too bad... he's great. keep it up paul!!
All my major papers have already and they were fine, biology paper 2 was sort of a bumpy ride. i guess the examiner's tired of asking lame questions like what is the advantage of manufacturing single-cell proteins? "copy and paste" does not exist now. i still dont know what's up with the cambridge dudes, not a single question came out on coordination and response and maufacturing of cheese, bread or even alcohol, there was barely anything! when i first opened the booklet, an ecology question whooped it in my ass already. so? nonetheless it was still okay.
i'm thinking of getting Josh Groban's new cd, noel.it's packed with great christmas songs like silent night. Plus he's a damn good singer.

half the world begs and the other half steals
Hey all
Been up to my neck with so much stuff like exams and all, i was finally able to pluck some time out.
Firstly just want to say thanks to ed for The Summer Obsession, their really good as they've definitely picked up some influences like cartel, yea, while they are still roving around in their stages of youth, i find that i can relate things to their music. much mentioned about eloping with girls and not having a care in the world makes me go soft. extra points for the song "where you belong" and "do you remember", the latter reminds me of Face Down with a much lighter touch, which also has a tinge of domestic violence being expressed.
we've been swapping cds for such a long time that i could'nt even remember what was our first swap. anyway its our 60th cd swap sooooo.... congrats to you tubby...
Next, i really can't stand it. its the bloody re-enactment of "the prince and the pauper". i just cant understand why someone would want to distance himself from others who are not that fucking fortunate as just because he is more fucking fortunate than others... i'm sure one of us has given some aid to charity when they camp in public?? come on, have a heart. Please i get very pissed off enough when you don't lend a hand, furthermore things get more fucked up when you make comments that resembles a beast.

(after a glass of water) i'm planning one of these days go hunt for Fightstar's album.Their killer track "paint your target" blew my nuts away. lookout!!!!!
Biology and Social studies exam on monday. Its about time. we've come a long way, baby.
